Lapis Liedchen was born to a regular raen village in Othard, but sent away at a very young age to avoid Garlean takeover. Stowed away on a ship with other young raen, she was found in Limsa by a trader, who brought the child home to his wife in Gridania. They raised her as their own, finding that she had a penchant for music and an optimistic attitude. Eventually, the call of adventure leads her down a path she never expected to take, and has now become the warrior of light, champion of eorzea.
